Effective and Efficient with BenN: Knowledge about IT with a heart for telephony

Case

Designing, tendering and selecting a worldwide data and telephony infrastructure, including housing the ICT infrastructure.

Reason: expiration of the WAN contract (50 branches all over the world with an increase to 200 locations in 2 years) and the demand for telecom solutions, which better support the core business;

Objectives: realising a data and telephony infrastructure, preferably at one supplier, including the selection of a data centre in which the vital ICT infrastructure is placed with third parties, in order to work more optimally and be more flexible.

Runtime: 6 months;

BenN is responsible for:
* the functional and technical design of the telecom infrastructure (WAN, fixed and mobile telephony) according to new technical standards and the possibility to use e.g. streaming video all through the locations, including justification based on business cases;
* drawing up the RFP document and the selection of the services;
* negotiating solutions, costs and conditions with regard to the IP and GSM infrastructure and hosting.

Result: a worldwide network and telephony infrastructure and an elsewhere-hosted ICT infrastructure with which the client can better support its business and one gets more at a relatively  lower cost.
